Sylvia Saenz is a prominent Mexican actress who began her artistic career participating in several soap operas and series that led her to consolidate herself as a figure in the entertainment industry of her country.

Trained at such well-known institutions as LAMDA (London Academy Music and Dramatic Arts) or NYFA (New York Film Academy), she has alternated her popular television roles with her other great passion: theater. Having participated in productions such as Everyday Poisons (2012), Congratulations Mom (2014), Nobody’s Gonna Laugh (2018) or Seven Times Goodbye (2022).

Her first important role came with La Hija del Mariachi (2006-2007). A success that was followed by other popular productions such as Cachito de Cielo (2012), Señora Acero (2015-2018) or La Doña (2016-2020), among others. In Señora Acero, she played Carolina The Fierce Palmer, a character that catapulted her to international fame. And her performance in La Doña as Regina Sandoval was also highly acclaimed, consolidating her reputation as an actress of great popularity in Latin America.

In recent years, Sylvia has worked in such renowned productions as José José, el príncipe de la canción (2018), Betty in NY (2019), 100 días para enamorarnos (2020-2021), ‘Til Jail Do Us Part (2022) or Minas de Pasión (2023-2024), among others.
