A bilingual British and Spanish actor, Nicholas has built an international career across film and television.
This year, he will appear in Nia DaCosta’s (The Marvels, 28 Years Later) period drama Hedda, starring Tessa Thompson and Nina Hoss, and produced by Amazon and Plan B.
Other recent roles include Richard Pugh in Patrick Marber’s The Critic (2024), starring Ian McKellen, and Ned in Netflix’s Lady Chatterley’s Lover, starring Emma Corrin and Jack O’Connell.
On television, he will soon feature in the prestige Hulu series Amanda: A Coming of Age Horror, directed by Michael Uppendahl (Monsters), set for release in late 2025.
He is best known for his role as Maxim Alonso across three seasons of Lena Dunham’s critically acclaimed BBC/HBO series Industry, which is currently filming its fourth instalment.
Recent notable work includes Federico in This City Is Ours (BBC/Left Bank), as well as appearances in Becoming Elizabeth (Starz) and leading roles in English theatre, from the Royal Shakespeare Company to the National Theatre.
He is currently developing his first television series as a writer.
