Matías Novoa is a Chilean actor based in Madrid, Spain. He began his career as a model in his native country before moving to Mexico in 2007, where he developed a successful acting career. While training at the prestigious Centro de Estudios y Formación Actoral, CEFAT, he caught the attention of TV Azteca agents, thus getting the opportunity to debut in his first telenovela, Mujer comprada (Purchased Woman), starring José Ángel Llamas, Andrea Martí and Gabriela Vergara. Throughout his career, Matías has participated in several television productions. Some of his telenovelas include titles such as Hombre tenías que ser (You Had To Be A Man), Tanto amor, Enemigo íntimo and the one that has become an audience phenomenon El señor de los cielos (Lord of the Skies), with more than three million viewers. With one of his latest works, La Herencia (Legacy), Novoa has been nominated for two Premios Juventud, including best actor. Among his multitude of projects, we can see Matías on Netflix playing Nicandro Gómez in the series ¿Quién mató a Sara? (Who Killed Sara?).
