JAVIER CANO LARUMBE

Representation: Global

He remembers that the first that that his father took him to the cinema, he spent the entire film watching the dancing light beam from the searchlight to the screen. Since then his gaze continues to be that of a child who lives between reality and fantasy.
His work had been selected at International festivals such as the La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival (United States), the Berlin Commercial (Germany), the Bokeh International Fashion Film Festival (South Africa), and the Aesthetica Short Film Festival (England) among others.
Javier Cano Larumbe currently combines his work in advertising with writing his first fiction feature film and is also working on his next two short films: one animated and one fiction, starring María Valverde and Javier Beltrán.
He also collaborates regularly with film directors Juan Antonio Bayona (Society of the Snow) and Claudia Llosa (The Milk of Sorrow), for whom he has worked as second unit director in some of their projects.
