Holly Renaut is a British-Canadian actress, voice artist, and accent coach known for her versatility and international experience in theatre, film, and television. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, she holds dual Canadian and British citizenship, as well as a European NIE. She currently divides her time between Madrid and London.
From a young age, she trained in dance and singing, joining her first professional theatre company at the age of 15. By 17, she became the youngest director to receive a five-star review at the Saskatoon Fringe Theatre Festival.
Holly holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and furthered her education at prestigious institutions such as the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and East 15 Acting School. She also undertook advanced training in voice and Shakespeare with Kristin Linklater at the Kristin Linklater Voice Centre in Scotland.
Throughout her career, Holly has worked in several countries, including the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Ireland, and Spain. On stage, she has performed notable roles such as Mistress Quickly in The Merry Wives of Windsor with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Joni Mitchell in Songs of a Prairie Girl at the Greystone Theatre, Canada.
On television, she recently portrayed Sophie in the Apple TV series Land of Women. In voice acting, she has lent her voice to characters such as the female AI in the video game Metroid Dread and has worked on Disney+ productions like Noche de Chicas and Desde el Mañana.
In addition to her work as an actress, Holly is a renowned accent coach and acting instructor. She founded Compass Arts and The Accent Challenge, programs dedicated to actor training and accent refinement. She has also worked as a dialogue coach on productions such as the HBO series When Nobody Sees Us.
Holly is bilingual in English, French and Spanish and has basic knowledge of Portuguese, allowing her to adapt to a wide variety of roles and projects in different languages and cultures.
