Born in Serbia (Kladovo), Darko started his professional career in Spain in 2008, acting in TV series. Before that he lived in Serbia, Romania and Germany (Berlin), where he worked in independent short films and theatre.

His first major role in Spain was in the series Crematorio (Canal Plus, 2010). He later appeared in several productions in Madrid, including A Perfect Day (2015), directed by Fernando León de Aranoa, alongside Benicio del Toro and Tim Robbins.

In 2016 he joined the Atresmedia series Mar de plástico, playing “Oso”, the main villain — a role that increased his visibility in the Spanish industry. In 2017 he was cast as Helsinki in La casa de papel (Money Heist), created by Álex Pina. The series became a global success on Netflix and won Best Drama at the International Emmy Awards in 2018.

Darko Peric is also developing audiovisual projects as a producer through his label Karamba Films.
