One of the most renowned investigative journalists in Spain and author of 11 novels and essays on police and judicial matters. And also a public figure as the crime chronicles specialist in the successful daily TV show “Y ahora Sonsoles…” at Antena3.

With a degree in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a Master in Judicial Journalism from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Carlos has worked in some of the main media in Spain, such as SER, la Sexta, TV3, Onda Cero, RAC1, etc.

Since 2015 he has been directing El Taquígrafo.com digital newspaper, specialized in judicial, police and investigation chronicles.

His novel “Mala Vida” (Ed. Aguilar, 2008) received the prestigious Rodofo Walsh International Noir Novel Award at the Semana Negra de Gijón.

He is also currently hosting and directing the true crime podcast “Sumario abierto” for the Spanish media El Español.
